At 18:34 on August 8, 2008, user "sdfdgfds dfghsdgfd" posted this article which read as follows: The article was copied verbatim from the Wikipedias article on the same topic, written by someone else. According to the editor who posted the article, "the original article was written by someone else." The editor said he discovered a talk page discussion on Wikipedia about a TV show for which a Wikipedia article does exist and copied the established Wikipedia article verbatim. There is also a discussion on that talk page on whether or not copying from other wikipedia articles violates copyright infringement. A number of the edit summaries on the diff of the copied article suggested that the content of the original article had been copied. However, no reference to any type of copyright infringement is ever mentioned in any edit summary. No mention is made that the content had been copied from another Wikipedia article. Accordingly, this error seems to be one without consequence at all, since there are no actual concerns about "copying" in this context. But, in general, an editor should follow Wikipedia's policy on "notability" when selecting sources. 81eaaddfaf 34
